About Jennifer

 Jennifer is a Registered Acupuncturist trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She graduated from MacEwan College in Edmonton in 2005 and studied at Heze Medical College in Shandong province, China in the spring of the same year. 

  Jennifer holds certifications in; addiction treatment (NADA),  sport injury/physical pain treatment and management, meridian therapy for chronic pain, auricular therapy (ear acupuncture), and acupuncture during pregnancy. 

Her focus lies in the treatment of stress and mental-emotional issues with great results even when combined with pharmaceuticals and other treatment modalities. 

Having been a registered massage therapist in Alberta for 13 years, has also given her experience in treating sports-related injuries, muscular-skeletal pain and chronic repetitive strain injuries.  Jennifer uses both massage and acupuncture during her treatments, as well as; moxabustion, guasha, and cupping techniques to resolve underlying issues—relieving not only the symptoms, but getting to the root of the problem.  Jennifer believes that health is dependent on keeping the body and mind in balance, viewing the patient in their own external/internal environment to relieve pain, restore function and to achieve optimum health.

  Jennifer is a member of the CTCMA, ATCMA of BC, NADA, NHPC and is an associate member of the BC Sports Acupuncture Association.
